Industrial Facilities.
The RAVEN System provides
fast, accurate, yet low cost mass notification for industrial
facilities. Unlike cumbersome wired systems, the wireless nature
of our products allow for low cost installation over large
distances while allowing for easy future additions. Our system
and products assist industrial facilities in multiple ways:
Hazardous Material Release -
Most facilities housing hazardous material have some type of on-site
alarm that is sounded when a hazardous material is inadvertently
released. The RAVEN-500 improves existing systems by allowing for
the delivery of voice messages informing workers and visitors as to the
proper course of action. Also since the products are wireless
they can install anywhere anytime with minimal installation cost.
 The RAVENAlert residential
emergency alert is
a breakthrough in low cost yet
very effective alerting of residences and buildings located near
industrial facilities. Up until now there has not been a cost
effective, accurate method for alerting those that are potentially in
harm’s way. Outdoor sirens have typically been the established
method but they are not assured of being heard indoors and they cannot
deliver instructions. The RAVENAlert
not only alerts but delivers
information as to the proper course of action as well.
Unnecessary Weather Related
Shutdown -
Many facilities face shutdown when the National Weather Service issues
tornado or severe weather alerts. These alerts are often broad
based and are distributed over large geographic areas. Often
facilities begin a shutdown sequence only to commence start up again
when it is clear that the weather is not going to affect them.
Arraid has partnered with third party weather firms that will deliver
pin point accurate forecasting based upon your exact location.
These firms will monitor your site in real time and will activate the
RAVEN System warning devices from their facility and do so only when
the
severe weather is in your immediate area. Your facility is warned
in an accurate and timely manner.
 Emergency Shutdown -
The RAVEN System solves problems associated with alerting personnel
spread over large areas often with high ambient noise. The RAVEN-500
can deliver high volume audible alerts followed by voice messages and
at the same time deliver the message to digital signage. Visible alerts
such as strobes or flashing lights are easily incorporated. The
RAVENAlert will deliver the
same alert to indoor areas such as offices and
break rooms. Personal pagers can also be worn by employees and
receive the same alert.
Non Emergency Communication -
All of the RAVEN System products are designed to deliver non emergency
messages even when installed in a system designed for emergency
situations. Every unit can deliver information in a non emergency
format if desired. This provides a very low cost communication method
for sprawling facilities that have a difficult time keeping up with
wired infrastructure. It can also avoid the need for higher cost
two way radio systems when simple information delivery is all that is
desired.
